Privacy Policy

KZ Development Ltd. is a Manitoba-based technology company. This policy applies to personal information collected through kzdevelopment.org, our project enquiry forms, and direct email conversations that begin through this website.

It does not replace the privacy, confidentiality, or data-handling terms in a signed client agreement. Those terms apply to work performed for a client when they are more specific.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Information entered in an enquiry form, including your name, work email address, optional company name, selected service, and message.
• Information you send by email, including your email address, message content, attachments, and related correspondence.
• Technical request and security information, such as your IP address, request time, browser and device information, request headers, and security logs.
• Signals used by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. These may include IP address, browser and device characteristics, website origin, and interaction or security signals.

We use personal information only for purposes connected to your interaction with us, including to:

• Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
• Understand, evaluate, and discuss requested work.
• Prevent spam, automated abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• Operate, maintain, and protect the website and email systems.
• Keep necessary business records and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry information to build advertising profiles, and we do not add people who contact us to marketing lists without separate consent.

We use Cloudflare for website delivery, hosting, security, and Turnstile abuse prevention. You can learn more in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice.

We use MXroute to transmit and store enquiry emails. Its privacy and service terms are available in the MXroute terms.

These providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information handled in another country may be subject to that country's laws and lawful access requirements.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to investigate and address fraud, abuse, or a security incident.

We retain enquiry information only until the enquiry is resolved or is no longer reasonably active. We may keep relevant records longer when an enquiry becomes a client relationship, when a legal or accounting obligation applies, or when records are needed to establish or defend a legal claim.

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. These include limiting access, protecting accounts, encrypting information in transit where supported, and using security monitoring to identify abuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may withdraw consent to our continued use of your personal information by contacting the Privacy Officer. Withdrawal may limit our ability to respond to an enquiry or provide requested services.

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete information that we no longer need. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained or withheld when permitted or required by law.

If you have a concern, contact us first so we can investigate and respond. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We may update this policy when our practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
